Logan's Run was a 1977-1978 American television series about two people who escape from an underground city and explore a post-apocalyptic countryside populated by people, robots, and creatures. It was designed as a continuation of the 1976 American science-fiction movie Logan's Run, about a man living in a city where everyone over the age of 30 is put to death. The movie was itself based on the 1967 novel of the same name, written by William F. Nolan and George Clayton Johnson. The television series starred Gregory Harrison, Heather Menzies, and David Moffat
Logan (Harrison), Jessica (Menzies), and Rem (Moffat) encounter two groups of seemingly identical people- one side good and kind, the other evil and barbaric. The "good" side have been using a machine to turn the evil parts of their personalities into another physical being in the hopes of creating a purified utopia. The "evil" side is made up of the results of these experiments. Jessica is hypnotized and placed into the machine, splitting her into good and evil. It's up to Logan, Rem, and the rebellious Rama (Kim Cattrall) to put her back together again.
